Ahlstrom-Munksjö launched WallStar Digital, its new portfolio of fiber-based solutions for digital printing applications, in North America.
The demand for personalized digital printing is growing, driven by changing consumer demand, for which personalization is extremely important. Digitally printed wallcoverings can be used to quickly change rooms, while adding impact through the use of custom designs. Environmental aspects are also of great importance as North American consumers become more aware of sustainability and the type of materials they want to use. Therefore, digital printers are looking for PVC-free media that can print in small, unique and personalized quantities.
WallStar Digital is a line of direct printable, PVC-free nonwoven products from Ahlstrom-Munksjö, offering benefits to both printers and end users. For printers, the portfolio provides media with high dimensional stability and excellent printability. The media is fully compatible with Latex, UV and laserjet printers. For end users, the bracket is PVC free, has a luxurious touch, and is simple to install and remove. Make it easier to change and use new designs.
